The Icicle Works made 5 albums from 1984- 1990 Their best known track were Love Is a Wonderful Colour and Whisper To A Scream (Birds Fly) but there was a lot more to the band then these singles. Like their contemporaries Echo And Bunnymen and The Teardrop Explodes they also made strong albums packed full of riveting melodic songs showcasing McNabb’s powerful voice.
