One could say that this was Justine Frischmann’s homage to Wire. Elastica’s Connection was one of the songs of the moment in 1994 as Britpop became the buzz word. Originally a member of Suede forming the band with Brett Anderson, she parted ways and formed Elastica in 1992, selling over a million copies of the debut album released in 1995. She is now an abstract painter and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
