Andrew Bird will play a series of dates in November and December in California and Illinois. The first 6 California shows will also have The Handsome Family on the bill.

Gezelligheid Winter 2013

Hello friends, today we’re announcing the yearly installment of the intimate “Gezelligheid” performances this winter with concerts scheduled in Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

Appropriating a Dutch term that loosely translates to “extra extra cozy,” the shows concentrate mainly on instrumental violin pieces amplified only by the signature giant Specimen horns. This year’s shows will include special guest Tift Merritt.
