Richard Coughlan the drummer from Art Rock band Caravan passed away on December 1st. As a tribute to him the Video Of The Day today is Winter Wine from their 1971 album, In The Land Of Grey And Pink. This colourful performance is from the German TV Show Beat Club. I saw Caravan live in Liverpool at the Stadium in the mid – seventies and Pye Hastings was probably the first guitar player that I noticed was playing an electric 12 string guitar. He generally played a Fender 12 and you can see and hear it clearly in this clip.
