A flute playing lead singer with white face make up, strange costumes and a theatrical dialogue, a lead guitarist that sits down, a bass player that plays bass pedals and a double-neck Rickenbacker that is also an electric 12 string, a keyboard player with a multitude of different sounds, also playing acoustic 12 string and last but not least a drummer, ex child actor, that sings and would become a susperstar in his own right. Add to this a set full of arty, complex, melodic, musical adventures and colourful yarns with surreal lyrics and that’s Genesis as we know and love them.
