Although the connection between Siouxsie And The Banshees and The House Of Love might be considered tenuous, they did have something for Christine. In Siouxsie And The Banshees’ case it was the fascinating story of Christine Costner-Sizemore and her multiple personality disorder. In the case of The House Of Love – it remains a mystery.
If you are wondering why there is a 1958 Plymouth in the photo, apart from it being my birth year (true) in Plymouth (not really). It is from the 1983 film adaptation of Stephen King’s book of the same name. There’s actually a lot of songs called Christine but this rare soul gem by Executive Suite features Daryl Hall and is co-written with Len Barry and Tom Sellers. It’s great – if you dig soul.
