Frazey Ford with a moving video tribute to the great Teenie Hodges, Al Green guitarist and collaborator, co-writer of Take Me To The River. The video was shot by Robert Gordon at Royal Studios in Memphis and includes footage with Hodges’ band Hi Rhythm Section. Hodges passed away in June this year.
Frazey Ford is a member of Canadian Folk trio, Be Good Tanyas but has taken a decidedly more soul direction on her solo outings. This track comes from the second solo album, Indian Ocean and sits in that perfect place where the feel eases you along with a cool vibe and has you tapping your foot and dancing inside whilst relaxing in a soft chair with your eyes closed.
