Wings in the mid seventies playing Maybe I’m Amazed with a mid seventies tempo, featuring Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar, Denny Laine on bass, Joe English on drums and Linda McCartney on keys with another incredible vocal performance from yours truly some 39 years ago.
Sadly Linda McCartney lost her life to breast cancer in 1998 – she was 56. (This song was written about her). Jimmy McCulloch died of a drug overdose in 1979 – he was just 26 years old. He played on a long list of records, one of the greatest being Something In The Air as a member of Thunderclap Newman. Joe English left Wings and joined Sea Level, later becoming a christian and giving up playing drums due to health issues. Denny Laine is most famous for being a member of The Moody Blues in the sixties. He left Wings in 1981 after 10 years in the band and continues to tour sporadically in various incarnations of himself.
