La Hell Gang represent the sounds of Chilean Dark Mood swirling Garage Rock. They suffered a stop/start beginning that saw guitarist/vocalist Francisco Cábala put the band on hold after recording their debut to concentrate on his other band Chicos de Nazca as well as a solo Electronic project. Consequently the first album recorded in one day in 2009 lay unreleased for four years until BYM records released it in 2013.
They released their second album Thru Me Again on the Mexican Summer label in 2014. The band, a three piece augmented by drummer Nes and bassist Sarwin have you lying back on soft pillows whilst they pierce your ears with sharp shards of glorious muted cacophony. As a reference point they remind me of Washington DC three piece Dead Meadow following the same Psychedelic, Stoner Rock grooves.
The two swirly and one location performance videos below might transport you into their sonic whirling and have you unlock that part of your brain that allows you to relax into noise, immerse yourself in their bubbling lava, burning your eyes whilst stroking your mind, turn it up so it can quietly send you somewhere else, drown you in seductive tones, have you sleep in the turmoil.
