I wouldn’t normally just repost something that I wrote two years ago. But then circumstances have dictated that I do just that. Tomorrow morning at 8.44 I take the train from Penzance to London. On to Warsaw and a connecting flight to Yerevan in Armenia where I will play with Anekdoten on Sunday night – the free Saturday day and night will be adventuring in the city. Leaving straight after the show, I fly to Vienna, then back to London. I will catch a train from Paddington to Penzance and will be back here on Monday evening, probably with much to report.
In the meantime this is the link from the IDMA article on Djivan Gasparyan’s beautiful record of Duduk music, I Will Not Be Sad In This World. Have a nice weekend as I surely will.
