Music today has been Lucy Dacus’ latest album Home Video (2021), Julien Baker’s Little Oblivions and Phoebe Bridgers’ Punisher (2020). Bridgers seems to have been catapulted to some kind of crazy fame playing at large venues like The Greek Theatre in LA. It’s strange how it just happens to some people. Personally, I’d like to hear a full album of all three of them with their boygenius project, their EP was really great. I also listened to Beth Orton’s Kidsticks (2016) who I really like sometimes. I think I really like her when she does things that the people that like her don’t like. Life is weird.
