Music today has been Andy Davis – Clevedon Pier (1989). Davis was an original member of Stackridge and The Korgis (Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime) and also somehow found himself playing acoustic guitar on the second side of John Lennon’s Imagine (1971). He played with Julian Cope, Tears for Fears, Goldfrapp, Moondog, Bill Nelson, and Spiritualized. This is a completely undiscovered and wonderful album, despite some dated clippy drum machine sounds, but overall, what a talent.
