20/1/24 – MARTY’S DAILY ALBUM PICKS

Music today has been TortoiseMillions Now Living Will Never Die (1996) because we were talking about them last night and it’s been a while since I played this record. I have an original copy of this album and I think it’s kinda hard to find and a bit pricey. It’s Chicago post-rock with all kinds of inventive influences from krautrock, dub, to jazz, to progressive bands like Pierre Moerlen’s Gong which along with Neu! and Kraftwerk you can hear in the opening track Djed.
