27/1/24 – MARTY’S DAILY ALBUM PICKS

As I’ve been stuck in 1968, music today has been The Move and their debut album. Apparently, the tapes were stolen out of a car in the legendary Denmark Street in London and were finally recovered from a dumpster, but they had to start the album again. Famous faces, Roy Wood and Bev Bevan from ELO, Carl Wayne, would eventually join The Hollies after Allan Clarke left. On their debut, Ace Kefford played bass and Trevor Burton guitar. Famous songs before and after and on this album: Flowers in the Rain, I Can Hear the Grass Grow, Night of Fear, Fire Brigade.
