26/2/24 – MARTY’S DAILY ALBUM PICKS

I put my keys into our security gate, ‘click’, and up the steps to the door, which I opened and walked inside, we were home. We loaded our luggage in and walked around inside, re-familiarising ourselves, it’s been three months. I put a record on, La DüsseldorfViva (1978), it seemed like the kind of thing I wanted to hear, it’s German ‘Motorik’, outside the norm, the way of hearing music beyond tradition and experimenting with form, context, content, chords, lyrics, beats, love it. The Archive is active and aware of the move of everything else from England, 15 days to go.
