10/4/24 – MARTY’S DAILY ALBUM PICKS

Music today has been many things because I’m listening to music all the time as I’m building and ripping and fixing. What stood out most was Revolver (1966) but I also listened to Help! (1965) and Abbey Road (1969) as well as the first Roxy album (1972) and For Your Pleasure (1973), then Exile on Main Street (1972), Motown Chartbusters Volume 1 (1969), Born to Run (1975), Pretenders Singles (1987), and Tubular Bells (1973). Whilst writing this I’ve been listening to a collection of Ella Fitzgerald (check these albums) – so let’s stick with that as it comes from another era, another world. I suppose I come from another era too, another world, that’s what younger people must think when they see this massive physical collection of music – isn’t it beautiful?
