Music today has been the first two Tim Hardin albums, for obvious reasons, but also to remind everyone generally about his wonderful songwriting – Reason to Believe, How Can We Hang On To A Dream, Misty Roses, Don’t Make Promises and the aforementioned If I Were A Carpenter to name but a few. So many artists have covered his songs and I really love his voice. I read that when he died of a heroin overdose in 1980, all of his albums were out of print.
